Note that companies' own websites can also be a good source of information. Pages with company news, investor information, company history, etc. may be particularly useful.
Login to ABI/INFORM Collection.
Enter a company's name in the "Company/organization:" search box, clicking on the Look up Companies/organizations link if needed to find the exact name of the company being searched for.
Then scroll down the page, and in the "Document type" section, check the box next to Company Profile.
Search results will include company reports/profiles/capsules from various sources.
Login to Business Source Ultimate.
Enter a company's name in a search box and then scroll down the screen to the Filters section. Use the drop-down menu in the Publication Type section to select Company Profile and then run the search.
Depending on which company you're searching for, you may find a MarketLine or Medtrack company profile in your search results. If so, use the drop-down menu in the Access options section to select either PDF or Online full text to see the full text of the company's profile.
Login to Gale Business: Insights.
Click on the Browse All Companies button, enter a company's name in the search box, and then click on the company's name on the search results page.
The company profile page includes a link to the company's website, a company overview, financial information, links to various types of articles about the company, and more.
Login to Hoovers.
Enter a company’s name in the “Search for a Company” box at the top of the database’s home page.
The company information page provides a company summary. Additional company information is available from the menu links on the left-hand side of the company summary page.
Login to IBISWorld.
Enter a company’s name in the search box.
The Company Overview page provides basic company information: a description, market share, financial information, etc.
Login to Nexis Uni.
Click on the Find a Company link on the database's home page, below the search box.
On the Nexis Dossier+ page, enter a company’s name in the search box and click on its name from the results list.
The company dossier page provides a company overview. Additional company information is available from the tabs toward the top of the dossier page.

Enter a company's name in the search box on the database's home page.
You can use the options under the "REFINE YOUR SEARCH" heading on the right-hand side of the search results page to limit your results by content type, location, publication date, etc.
