Company Websites
You can often find information about a particular company's history on the company's own website, often toward the bottom of the company's home page. Look for a section entitled "About us" or "Our story," etc.
Library Databases
Some UMGC Library databases also contain information about a company's history. Databases that can be used to find a company's history include:

Login to Business Source Ultimate.
Enter a company's name in a search box and then scroll down the screen to the Filters section. Use the drop-down menu in the Publication Type section to select Company Profile and then run the search.
Depending on which company you're searching for, you may find a MarketLine or Medtrack company profile in your search results. If so, use the drop-down menu in the Access options section to select either PDF or Online full text to see the full text of the company's profile.
Company profiles may include information about the company's history.
Login to Gale Business: Insights.
Click on the Browse All Companies button, enter a company's name in the search box, and then click on the company's name on the search results page.
The company profile page may include links for Company History and/or Chronology.
Login to Hoovers.
Enter a company's name in the "Search for a Company" box at the top of the database's home page.
On the left-hand side of the company information page, you may see a Company History link.
