To analyze data online for free using Survey Documentation and Analysis (SDA) rather than by using statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, or Stata, all of which must be purchased:

1. Log in to your ICPSR account
2. Click on the List studies for which online analysis is available link on the Find Data page.
3. On the search results page, click on the link for a study. Note that you can use the filters on the left-hand side of the page to further refine your results.
4. On the page for the study that you selected, click on the Analyze Online button and then select the desired method of SDA analysis
