Zotero

See Adding Items to Zotero for instructions on how to add information about various types of items (journal articles, books, web pages, etc.) to Zotero. Note that you should have the Zotero desktop app as well as the Zotero Connector in order to use Zotero properly.

Items can be added to Zotero:

• via a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
• by entering an identifier (ISBN, DOI, or PubMed ID)
• from metadata retrieved from a PDF
• from a web page
• from other citation tools (RefWorks, Mendeley, EndNote, etc.)
• via manual entry
• from Word documents, PDFs, and other text files
