Topics include instructional design, activities that engage students, teaching specific types of students, instructional vitality, teaching and learning with technology, creating climates for learning, and faculty development

The focus is "Best Practices for Promoting Engaged Student Learning" and topics include critical thinking, effective use of distance and blended learning, open educational resources, models, and social networking and mobile learning.
