Library Login Help

Current students, faculty, staff:
Use your UMGC email address and password - the same as you use for other UMGC applications, such as MyUMGC and your online classroom.

Getting an error that says "You do not currently have remote access to UMGC Library Resources?"
Because of licensing restrictions, you must be an active student, faculty, or staff member to log in remotely to library resources.  

Why don't I have access?  

• STUDENTS
  If you haven't yet registered for a course or it has been more than 4 semesters since you have taken a course.  
• ADJUNCTS 
  If you haven't yet been staffed to teach a course or it has been more than 18 months since you last taught.  
• STAFF & FULL TIME FACULTY
  If your employment has not yet begun or has ended.  

Others:

• Alumni 
  Due to licensing restrictions, we cannot offer database access to alumni.  See library services for alumni.
• DBA applicants
  Please see this page on finding scholarly articles for DBA applicants.  
• EMERITUS faculty
  Access should be perpetual. Please report a login problem if you do not have access.  
• FACDEV participants 
  A guest login will be posted in the FACDEV classroom.
• Associates
  If you have been given a guest login, please use the guest login. 

Report a Login Problem if you should have access but do not.  

Guest Login
You can use this login if you are having an issue with your regular login (and are an active student, faculty or staff member).  You will be prompted to log in with your last name and Student or Employee ID number.  You can also use this login if you have been given a guest login.
