ProQuest News allows you to create News Alerts for specific topics that interest you. For example, say you are interested in the latest articles regarding vaccines and vaccinations for Covid-19. You can create an alert for this topic and you will receive a link for the latest news articles in your email. (See the Search Tips page in this guide for information on creating effective searches.)
First, run a search query in ProQuest News:
You can then select any or all of the newspapers in the database you wish to search:
After running the search, click on the Save search/alert link and select Create alert from the dropdown menu:
You will then be prompted to create news alerts according to the parameters you choose, including how often you wish to receive alerts: Daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly.
